Five things you get on day one

Everything below is shipped and running. Two of the five are playable right here on this page.

Study smarter, not harder.

Evidence-based methods built into every lesson, not bolted on afterwards.

  • Active recall: you retrieve the answer instead of re-reading it.
  • Spaced repetition: reviews land right before you would forget.
  • Elaboration: new ideas get tied to what you already know.
  • Feynman technique: explain it back and the gaps show themselves.
  • Interleaving: topics mix, so you learn to choose the method.

Study Smarter, Not Harder

Every lesson is built around proven cognitive science, so you learn faster and remember longer.

Feynman Technique
Step 1 of 4

Step 1: Learn the Concept

Read and understand the concept below before moving on.

Photosynthesis

The process by which green plants convert sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide into glucose and oxygen.

Try a real lesson

This is the actual player, not a picture of it

The same component a signed-in student runs, on a short physics deck. Answer the questions and it grades and scores them for real.

Then you do it twice more

Every lesson runs three mastery cycles, and the questions get harder each time: recognise it, then produce it, then explain it from memory. Progress is derived from what you answered, so there is nothing to tick off.

Kinematics: motion under constant acceleration

Live component. Nothing here is saved, because you are not signed in yet.

Fourteen tutors. One subscription.

Ada, Newton and Euler are answering questions today. The rest of the faculty is on the way.

One price. Everything in it.

Education should not be a luxury good. There are no per-course paywalls here and no upsell for the feature you actually needed. One subscription opens every subject, every tutor and every technique.

  • Affordable on purposeFourteen AI tutors, every subject, every technique and Garden World for less than an hour with a private tutor.
  • Built to be efficientActive recall, spaced repetition and the Feynman method are in the lesson design, so your study hour does more work.
  • Nothing is gatedMaths, physics, programming, writing, art. Every subject we ship is included the day you sign up.

Common questions

Everything you need to know about SFTS.

Our tutors run on Google Gemini through a single shared gateway, with prompts written per subject persona. A tutor can either answer and teach, or guide you through a problem without giving the answer away.

Maths, the sciences, computer science, history, writing, philosophy, psychology, engineering, art and music, for grades 6 to 12 and introductory college, across 14 dedicated AI tutors.

Each subject has its own currency: Pi for maths, Atoms for physics, Bytes for programming, and so on. You earn them by studying and spend them on cosmetics and power-ups in Garden World.

Terrace is the notebook built into SFTS. It is a full block editor with maths, code, callouts, canvases and mind maps, and anything you write can be turned into a flashcard that joins one spaced-review queue.

Core and Pro subscribers can download content for offline study. Your progress syncs automatically when you reconnect.

Garden World is a virtual garden that grows as you learn. Complete lessons and spend your currencies to unlock plants, decorations and rare collectibles, which turns daily study into a habit.

Yes. Seven days of Core, no credit card required, with full access to everything.
